In June this year the next release of the prestigious Book of Lists ranking was published. Our translation agency topped a high eighth position in the category of language service providers, thus keeping its last year's ranking.

Published since 1995 by the Warsaw Business Journal, the Book of Lists publication is the most comprehensive guide through Polish businesses and economy available in our market. The recognition of the experts from the sector confirms Bireta’s strong position in the translation service market and guarantees high quality of the services delivered by the company.

On 13 February 2014 Bireta had the pleasure to take part in the Polish premiere of the FrackNation movie as well as in the meeting and discussion with its director. Bireta translation agency provided simultaneous interpretation services and equipment for the event.

The move is a record of a journalist investigation by Phelim McAleer, an Irish documentary maker and film producer. The director wanted to confront the audience with inaccurate information on shale gas and uncover facts and myths concerning fracturing. FrackNation is a polemic with the Gasland movie.

The Rolling Stock Forum is one of the key sector events that is attended by both representatives of rolling stock manufacturers and carriers from numerous European countries.

On Juny a certification audit was performed in Bireta Translation Agency. The audit was conducted by DEKRA Certification and its aim was to control and assess the compliance with PN-EN 15038 – the standard dedicated to translation agencies. Bireta fulfilled the requirements!

The main objective of PN-EN 15038 is to establish and define the requirements related to providing high quality services by translation service providers.

The audit confirms that Bireta meets the highest requirements of the quality standard.

We are extremely pleased to announce that Bireta Translations topped at number 8 in the latest Book of Lists ranking. We are very delighted that our work and continuous development secured us one of the highest ranks among translation companies in Poland for yet another year in a row!

Our translation office had the opportunity to provide simultaneous interpretations during a two-day conference “Strategy of trust” taking place on 5 and 6 June 2013 and organized by TU Europa. The meeting gathered managers of institutions from a banking and insurance sector in an international environment.

Bireta has signed a contract with Hitachi Zosen Inova AG for providing technical translation services concerning the construction of the Waste to Energy Plant (ITOPK) in Poznań.

Waste to Energy Plant for the City of Poznań is the largest project of this type in Poland, with a capacity of 210 000 tons a year. The plant will make it possible for the City of Poznań to meet the limits imposed on the quantity of municipal waste to be disposed on landfills, as enforced by the Polish and EU laws.

We are happy to be selected as Translation Service Provider for such an important project.

We are happy to inform that Bireta technical translation agency has implemented SDL Trados Studio 2011. Before that we had been working on a 2007 version.

Since September intensive trainings have been delivered to our team in order to introduce and present functions of the new version in details. We pass our words of appreciation to Katarzyna Zielińska (our Operational Director) for her perfect coordination of the process of implementation of the new software and for establishing the training programme.
