On 16.04.2021 MAart Agency was recertified once again, following a full audit, against the ISO 17100 for specialized translation and localisation services and project management. The audit and recertification was done by Bureau Veritas Certification.
ISO 17100:2015 is the first international standard for translation services which was officially published on 01.05.2015 and then also approved as a European and Polish standard (as PN-EN ISO 17100). MAart Agency was the first company in the world to obtain independent ISO 17100 certification on 27.04.2015 (done by Bureau Veritas Certification).
ISO 17100 specifies the requirements for key resources and processes, and all the other relevant aspects of managing the translation process that a Translation Service Provider (TSP) needs to fulfill in order to demonstrate compliance with the standard and provide a quality translation service according to specifications. Conformance to the standard is established on the basis of a full independent audit performed by an accredited certification body acknowledged by a renown industry organisation that has developed an accredited industry certification scheme for the standard.
In May 2020 MAart Agency successfully passed the another annual control audit (100% score) for conformance to ISO 17100 Translation requirements standard within the scope of specialized translation and localisation services and project management. The audit was performed by Bureau Veritas Certification under the existing accredited certification scheme.

MAart Agency is the industry partner for the Translating Europe Workshop - “Forum on New Translation Technologies: How to Link Productivity and Quality”. The conference is being organised by the Institute for Applied Linguistics and the Directorate General for Translation Field Office in Poland on 12 December 2016 at the European Commission Representation in Poland (No. 14/16A, Jasna St., Warsaw). The conference addresses the subject of new translation technologies. One of the conference presenters is Ewa Legumina, Quality Manager at MAart Agency, who shall present on the topic of "How to link productivity and quality".

The conference was organised by the Institute for Applied Linguistics and the Directorate General for Translation Field Office in Poland on 06.06.2016 at the European Commission Representation in Poland (No. 14/16A, Jasna St., Warsaw). The conference addressed the issue of quality in legal translation from the research, market and training perspectives.
The President of MAart Agency, Monika Popiolek, was one of the speakers invited and she presented on “ISO Standards Framework for QA in Legal Translation”.

ISO 17100, the first international standard for translation services, was published on 24.04.2015 and MAart Agency Ltd. is the first translation service provider (TSP) in the world to be independently ISO 17100 certified by Bureau Veritas.
ISO 17100 provides requirements for the core resources and all other aspects of managing the translation process and delivery by a TSP of a quality service that meets applicable specifications.
MAart Agency has once again confirmed the highest quality of its translation services by obtaining the maximum external audit score for compliance in the recertification audit was recently conducted by Bureau Veritas Certification Poland, an independent international certification unit. The scope of the certification covers translation and localization services as well as translation project management.
MAart Agency was the first translation agency in Poland, and one of the first in the world, to obtain independent certification confirming implementation and full compliance with the specialist EN 15038 translation standard at the beginning of 2007.
