Terminology extraction is one of the most difficult issues in terminology management. Numerous programs available on the market do not recognize the grammatical forms of terminology in inflected languages, which results in too many false positives in order for the program to be functional.

The basic features our proprietary solution, TEXT program, are:

Centrum Lokalizacji C&M has been organizing for a few years internships for students in the fields of technical translations, localization project management, sales of B2B services, and recently also IT. Our offer is not only addressed to Polish students, we also welcome foreign students heartily. Our well prepared programs, interesting educational offer and a proper way of knowledge transfer, along with training conditions, have aroused the interest of a student from the University of Lyon, following our young graduate from Brussels, who has come to our company as an intern in the field of project management and technical translation.

Starting in March 2013 Centrum Lokalizacji C&M organizes an internship in the field of advanced IT solution in translation industry. This internship program includes an educational section during which the interns will learn advanced methods of computer network management, including security and access control as well as configuration tasks in Linux. The second section of the program is devoted to practical exercises on the development of translation aiding tools in C++, Java or PHP languages, depending on the extent of knowledge of the students. This internship has aroused a lot of interest and many young people are eager to take part in it in order to gain practical knowledge and combine it with theory. Just like last year, in January 2013, C&M held the second final of the "Świat dla Młodych" (World for the Young) scholarship scheme, during which scholarships were awarded to two talented students from a middle and secondary school. The scheme was launched at the end of 2011 with the purpose of awarding students showing unusual aptitude for learning foreign languages and who have had unparalleled achievements in this field. This year's finale is a continuation of this scheme, which has an enduring interest of the Lower Silesian students. This year's participants' level, as the last year’s, was also very high, and the selection of the winners turned out to be very difficult. We would like to congratulate all the finalists. On Dec 19th, the employees ofCentrum Lokalizacji C&M gathered around a dinner to celebrate Christmas Eve. The event was held at the company’s office on Parkowa Street, 19. The meeting had a traditional touch to it as all the meals were prepared by the employees themselves. On Dec 20th, two of C&M’s employees visited the Community Centre in Legnica where they met the children, who usually take part in activities in the institution, to solemnly celebrate this year's Christmas Eve. The funds for this charitable action were raised by C&M’s employees and were used to purchase gifts and school supplies for the kids. The presents were given to the children during an event organized for Christmas to which families were invited. It was an unforgettable day for our employees who personally brought and handed the presents as well as to all the children. It was a great and moving experience for everyone. Since November 2012, C&M has become one of the supporting members of the KOMTE Association for Technical Communication.

The association comprises professionals involved in technical communication, not only from the translation industry, but also from the technical writing industry.One of the initiatives of KOMTE, in which C&M takes an active part, is the development of a manual focusing on good practices in the creation and translation of technical documentation. Beginning of November, Centrum Lokalizacji C&M has launched an internship program in the field of sales and marketing.

The internship is open to all students willing to improve their skills and qualifications in the field of sales and promotion techniques of translation services. The internship takes place at C&M’s office, Wrocław. The general internship program is available on our webpage. The internship has already received the support of Wrocław universities and colleges and has aroused as much interest as the internship in the field of technical translation which has been running for several years.
